PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Contract Supervisor you will play a key role in supporting both the Operations Manager and the Project Managers across the Southwest region. You will be expected to provide operational support across the contract, assuring quality of service is maintained as well as the health, safety and wellbeing within the teams.

You will undertake a variety of management support tasks such as on-site auditing, recruitment, as well as lead on employee engagement and assurance reporting. Core to the role is being regionally based and from time to time a national support requirement, with the responsibility of assisting with the H&S training, and auditing of resource to ensure that Aqualogic maintain a consistent delivery across our customer base.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Support Managers on a variety of different projects and initiatives, and deliver small projects.
  • Carry out health and safety/quality auditing – site, staff and sub-contractors, as required
  • Assist in the supervising and co-ordinating of staff including training, as well as any health and safety related tasks.
  • Completing reports, prioritising projects, and monitoring compliance with operational policies.
  • Support the project managers with recruitment, interviews, inductions etc.
  • Attend meetings as required and requested by the Project Managers.
  • Assist with the distribution and control of equipment/hardware around the team.
  • Lead on employee engagement, being visible to employees across the area.
  • Respond to and resolve regional employee issues and queries with the support of the Project Managers.
  • Interact with a hands-on approach to management and supervision.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be computer literate with experience in Microsoft 365 packages.
  • Have the ability to lead by example, setting high standard as expected by our customers.
  • Work well in an inter-management relationship and not be afraid to offer improvement plans to colleagues and management in a structured environment.
  • Clear communicator with all stakeholders.
  • Confidence and capability to work within Aqualogic corporate management systems collaborating with engineers and management.

 

KEY INTERFACES

  • Operations Manager: HR related, holidays, absence, wellbeing etc.
  • Project Managers/Client: Project delivery and reporting.
  • Aqualogic Support Services: HR, Fleet, Stores, Logistics as required.
