Overview

We are seeking to recruit an Administration Assistant to support a busy management team based at our head office in the Wirral. The role will support various department leaders and will be required to have high levels of competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

The candidate will have experience of business systems and working practices and must be able to demonstrate the ability to complete tasks, meet deadlines, process documents, input data and be willing to converse with colleagues across the business.

Tasks will be structured and time sensitive.

Our latest addition to our portfolio is Trimble Unity. Aqualogic has been appointed as the sole UK distributor of the excellent Trimble Unity software solution for water utility companies. Trimble Unity is a GIS-Centric Cloud and Mobile Software, offering a suite of applications and tools to support smart water management. The product focuses on workflow and business process improvement with the added benefit of better information for decision making and regulatory compliance.

We are now looking for an experienced Account Manager to handle & develop existing relationships while generating new sales for Unity.

The Role

You will become the company expert on Trimble Unity and smart networks. You’ll be at the heart of driving the business promoting Trimble Unity and our smart leakage systems putting them firmly at the forefront of the UK water industry. You'll be involved at all levels, including presentations and high level meetings; drafting and submitting proposals financial management and margin generation; tender preparation and submission. You will also be involved in the implementation side working with the software engineers at Trimble ensuring budgets are met, timelines are hit, and the customer is delighted.

We have a target of around 20 Water Company accounts to secure over the next 2 to 3 years; each account will require continual development and ongoing support.

You’ll be as comfortable presenting 1:1 as you will in front of an executive team from a water company.

This job is full of variety and you’ll need to be able to turn your hand to a multitude of tasks.

Requirements

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales opportunities with a focus on the UK water market. The role will involve account management, business development, and traditional sales.

We are looking for a highly successful person with technology & software sales experience, and a demonstrable track record of consistent over-achievement against assigned targets. Knowledge and experience in managing a highly complex technology sales process is essential.

Experience in selling SaaS solutions, business/financial applications, or BI solutions is an advantage.

Experience of working within the utility sector would be extremely beneficial as would general utility sales experience.

A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite is essential.

Location

You’ll be based out of our head office in The Wirral, although working from home anywhere in the UK is an option that will considered as the role is very much client focused.

UK and International travel as well as attending/setting up conferences and exhibitions will also be part of the role.

Qualifications:

Driving licence is essential and you’ll have a good set of A Levels and a degree in a related subject.

Overview

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Network Analyst for our water utility support operations in Wales. The successful candidate will work within a team to provide Technical Support on Water Asset Management and leakage/pressure projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.

This may include data analysis and hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software (GIS/AIS/Infoworks/MapInfo/etc) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.

As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:

  • Support PM and Lead on a variety of different projects and initiatives.
  • Leakage analysis and targeting
  • Programming field maintenance and project reporting
  • Analysis of flow, pressure and acoustic data.
  • Producing technical reports with varying levels of detail.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and clients, acting as an ambassador for Aqualogic.
  • Carryout IMS auditing – site, staff and sub-contractors
  • Supervising and co-ordinating staff including training, workload and IMS

Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

  • A minimum of five years appropriate water industry experience
  • Willingness to work on Secondment in Client Offices.

Water Auditor

Responsibilities

Carrying out water efficiency audits in customer households by prearranged appointment. Involves assessment of on-site water fittings (eg. taps, toilets, showers, baths etc), measuring of flow rates where applicable, information input/analysis using Aqualogic software with provided tablets/smartphones, presentation and reporting of data. In addition, the installation of water efficiency products as required.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.


Main Duties:

- Visiting sites, liaising with either home-owner or site manager (or similar).

- Report preparation and data presentation including recording site information and presenting in a standard format.

- Audit and survey of existing water systems.

- Data inputting into built databases and other specialist tools, using dedicated software for data capture via smartphone/tablet as well as MS Office.

- Assist Project Manager as required


- This list of duties is not exhaustive, training and Induction is provided. Overall, the successful candidate will be organised, have good work ethic and the ability to carry out the work within set time frames. Must be prepared to travel to designated areas. Work rota includes occasional Saturdays and evenings (up to 20:00hrs) will be required with days in lieu offered.


Skills:

- Basic plumbing: Essential

- Maintenance/DIY Skills: Advantageous

- Basic computer literacy: Essential

Experience:
