We are now recruiting a Project Manager based in the North East to join our expanding Water Efficiency team. We carry out domestic and non-domestic audits of the water supply, making recommendations to improve the efficiency and cost effectiveness of water usage, including installing water efficient products.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and management skills, together with a solid understanding of plumbing and water systems, to join our growing team.

As Project Manager, you will report to the Client Services Contracts Director and lead a delivery team of 2 supervisors and approximately 20 plumbers, supported by our appointment planning team and dedicated Data Analysts who provide performance reporting through Microsoft Power BI.

You will oversee the delivery of water-efficiency and field-based projects, ensuring they operate smoothly, profitably and to the highest standards of quality and customer service, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be expected to balance people management, project oversight, and client engagement while contributing to the wider success of Aqualogic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of water efficiency and plumbing projects, ensuring they meet time, budget, and quality specifications.
  • Act as the main stakeholder contact, managing contracts and providing regular updates on KPIs, productivity, and quality.
  • Recruit, train, and support delivery teams while managing performance, wellbeing, and welfare.
  • Coordinate planning and scheduling with internal teams, including Customer Planning and Data Analysts, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and data insights through collaboration with Data Analysts and use of tools like MS Power BI.
  • Maintain compliance and drive innovation, supporting internal process improvements, technology rollouts, and contributing to company-wide initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Good working knowledge of water efficiency, plumbing and water systems is desirable
  • Experience working in or with a water company or contractor.
  • Excellent people manager, organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong IT literacy – confident with MS 365; understanding of data reporting (Power BI desirable).
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders
  • Full UK driving licence.

Role Overview 

You’ll visit customers identified as high-water users to assess their plumbing fixtures, install water-saving devices, fix leaks and provide tailored advice to help them reduce water consumption. You’ll use our bespoke app to log data and explain your findings to customers in a professional and engaging manner.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct water efficiency visits in customer homes 
  • Assess and fit water-saving devices (e.g. taps, showers, toilets) 
  • Measure flow rates, check for leaks, and take meter readings 
  • Record data via the bespoke app 
  • Educate customers on sustainable water use and behavioural changes 
  • Provide high levels of customer service and feedback on service delivery 
  • Occasional weekend work required 

Requirements 

  • City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing (essential)
  • Full UK driving license (essential) 
  • GCSEs in Maths and English 
  • National Water Hygiene ‘Blue Card’ (preferred – training provided) 
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills

Customer Planner

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an organised and customer-focused Customer Planner to join our Client Services team in Birkenhead.  This is a fast-paced and varied role at the heart of our operational delivery. Based within our busy Planning Team, you will use our advanced planning systems and call centre technology to schedule customer appointments, supporting our field-based engineers in delivering water efficiency services that help customers reduce water consumption.

What you will be doing

  • Contacting customers by phone (inbound and outbound) to book, confirm and reschedule appointments while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate appointments for field-based technicians and engineers
  • Optimise schedules and workloads to maximise operational efficiency and minimise travel time.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the successful delivery of operational projects.

What we will expect from you

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, scheduling or a contact centre environment.
  • Excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

Leak Detection Engineer

Aqualogic is a growing water conservation and demand management business working with water companies across the UK. We combine practical field delivery, technical expertise and a people-focused approach to help reduce waste, improve performance and strengthen long-term resilience.

We are looking for experienced Leak Detection Engineers based throughout our operating region across the South West of England around Exeter and the South Coast/East Sussex area (Portsmouth and Redhill through to Gatwick). The role will require using your expertise to resolve complex operational issues that will include detecting both proactive and reactive leaks on our clients’ network using a combination of methods.  This position will suit an experienced leakage engineer who wants to progress within a growing company.

What we will expect from you

  • Extensive leak detection experience with keen attention to detail
  • Work accurately whilst meeting KPIs and achieving data capture targets without compromising quality
  • Operate effectively both independently and as part of a regional specialist team across urban and rural sites, supporting leak reduction programmes.
  • Identify, pinpoint, and verify leaks using specialist equipment and undertake valve operations and step testing.
  • Liaison with clients and project teams to log and manage confirmed leaks, always representing the company professionally.
  • Advanced knowledge of leakage detection techniques, water network hydraulics, and monitoring tools, whilst contributing to process improvements
  • A clean UK manual driving licence.
  • Vocational Achievements NVQ/C&G
  • Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation.
