Wessex Water Schools Programme

A behaviour-led water efficiency programme across 100 schools, cutting water use by 20%.

The Challenge

Wessex Water wanted to reduce water consumption across a large estate of schools, and to do it in a way that lasted, building lower usage into everyday habits rather than relying on a one-off fix.

Our Approach

We brought three things together. Behavioural change came first, helping pupils become water savers for the long term. A locally based project manager and trained, water-efficiency engineers worked closely with the client throughout. And a mix of WC fittings, including push taps, flow regulators, urinal controls and shower heads, locked in measurable savings across each site.

THE RESULTS

Substantial, measurable savings.
