New Leadership, New Goals: Powering the Next Phase of Growth

The UK water sector is facing one of its most significant periods of change in decades. As we approach 2025, the industry is entering AMP8. This isn’t just another investment cycle. It is a “sector-wide reset”.

The pressure is on to deliver real results. Utilities must reduce leakage by a mandated 17%, handle increasingly volatile climate conditions, and accelerate digital transformation. To meet these challenges, the sector needs to recruit up to 100,000 skilled roles over the next five years.

Aqualogic is Stepping Up

We are taking decisive steps to ensure we continue to lead in leakage reduction, demand management, and digital field services.

We are currently scaling our team. Having recently reached 270 personnel, we forecast growing to 330 by the end of this financial year. This gives us the national coverage and resource depth required to support our utility partners through the demands of AMP8.

To support this step-change in capability, we are strengthening our Board and leadership structure.

Meet the Leadership Team for 2026

We have aligned our strategic roles to meet future sector needs.

  • Wayne Arscott joins as Water Services Director Wayne’s arrival signals a major evolution in how we deliver work on the ground. He will focus on scaling our field resources to meet demand while elevating consistency, safety, and quality. His leadership will also deepen our digital surveying and leak detection capabilities.
  • Ashley Williams becomes Chief Growth Officer (CGO) Innovation and long-term planning are critical for the next five years. Ashley will lead our new business development and market expansion strategies. His role ensures Aqualogic not only keeps pace with sector change but helps shape it.
  • Ben Rice transitions to Chief Operating Officer (COO) To support the speed and complexity of delivery required for AMP8, Ben will lead our operational strategy and governance. He acts as the operational backbone, ensuring we are ready for large-scale programmes and technology-driven improvements.
  • Jonathan Adler continues as Client Services Director Continuity is vital during periods of growth. Jonathan remains focused on ensuring consistent, high-quality client engagement and transparent communication. His role ensures stability and strong contract stewardship as we navigate this fast-paced period.

Looking Forward

This unified leadership team ensures we remain ready, capable, and competitive. We are not just responding to AMP8. We are preparing to lead within it.

This update is just the beginning. As our business evolves, our brand will too. Keep an eye out for a fresh look at Aqualogic coming soon.

Bristol Water Trials Aqualogic’s iQuarius Leak Detection

Bristol Water Trials Aqualogic’s iQuarius Leak Detection with Positive Results

Bristol Water has recently completed a successful trial of Aqualogic’s iQuarius Leak Detection technology, delivering strong results in one of the most challenging District Metered Areas (DMAs) within its network.

The chosen DMA contained over 6,000 properties and a high natural rate of rise, making it a labour-intensive zone for Bristol Water’s in-house inspectors. By allocating this area to Aqualogic’s specialist iQuarius team, Bristol Water was able to focus its own resources on smaller, more efficient DMAs.

Aqualogic deployed a team of four trained technicians, supported by supervisor Luke, who completed the survey of 7,829 taps and fittings in just 7–9 working days. The work identified 72 points of interest (POIs) for further investigation. Follow-up activity confirmed:

  • 54 of 72 POIs were confirmed leaks
  • 43 of these leaks required repair, while 11 were uneconomical to repair and will be monitored
  • The survey located an estimated 7,700 litres per hour of leakage
  • Repairs raised by Bristol Water’s inspectors equated to an additional 7,500 litres per hour
  • These results reflect a leak conversion rate of at least 75%, with approximately 60% of all leaks raised for repair, saving around 7,500 litres of water per hour in this single DMA.

Josh Arnold, Leakage Control Manager at Bristol Water, commented:

“The iQuarius trial has been a real success, providing strong results in a difficult DMA while freeing up our in-house team to focus on other areas. We were impressed with both the technology and the professionalism of the Aqualogic team.”

Ashley Williams, Director at Aqualogic, added:

“We are delighted with the outcome of this trial and the partnership approach taken with Bristol Water. The iQuarius platform is proving its value in tackling leakage, and we look forward to supporting Bristol Water in further reducing water loss across the network.”

This successful trial underlines the effectiveness of Aqualogic’s iQuarius solution in large, complex DMAs and its potential to support water companies nationwide in driving down leakage and improving efficiency.
