Aqualogic Make it ‘virtually’ 3 out of 3 with the Northumbrian Water Group

Aqualogic (WC) Ltd have made it three wins out of three delivering virtual home water efficiency visits to customers of Northumbrian Water and Essex & Suffolk Water, reducing demand on precious water supplies, working together towards a greener future. 

Aqualogic pioneered the virtual home water visit in 2020 after the first government lockdown was introduced and water efficiency engineers could no longer gain access to customers’ homes.  The virtual visit, carried out over a fully secure video link, allows an expert engineer to see around a customer’s property using the camera on their smartphone or tablet, while asking them a variety of questions to assess their water usage.  

The visit takes around 30 minutes and is carried out exactly as any face-to-face water efficiency visit would be without the engineer being on-site, therefore removing any risk of transmitting the Covid 19 virus.  Through the customers camera the engineer will examine the toilets, taps, showers as well as looking for any annoying and costly leaks.  

During the visit the engineer will offer tips and advice as well as recommending a range of water efficiency products to help save water; these are sent direct to the customer for self-installation after the visit.  

On completion of the visit, using Aqualogic’s advanced water calculator, the engineer will summarise the customers water use, in litres and £’s, and demonstrate how much they can save by changing their usage habits and installing the recommended products. 

In phase one and phase two, thousands of litres of water were saved and the customer satisfaction rating at over 95% evidenced that the virtual audit had become a key aspect of water efficiency.
