Overview

Aqualogic have many opportunities available for candidates to join our thriving field services team delivering key water demand related services to our Utility Customers, as well as a range of private and public-sector customers in Wales and bordering areas. The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake data logging services, programming, servicing and deploying flow and pressure devices on a range of water distribution networks. Experience and knowledge of water distribution networks is desirable, subject to role.

As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:
  • Flow and pressure data logging – set up, installation and analysis.
  • Support the team on a variety of different projects and initiatives.
  • Required to undertake water network audits and surveys.
  • A range of leakage detection techniques for both distribution and trunk mains systems
  • Producing technical reports/summaries with varying levels of detail.
  • Liaise with sub-contractors and clients, acting as an ambassador for Aqualogic.
  • Senior Technicians may be responsible for the performance and supervision of a small team.
  • Senior Technician you will be responsible for the successful delivery of small projects and packages of work
Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:
  • Field data collection and use of data loggers including Technolog and HWM.
  • Or knowledge of water distribution networks and relevant assets
  • Well versed in Microsoft Office suite
  • Working to tight deadlines in a busy environment with limited supervision
  • A clean UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service
  • Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks
  • Site based skills and experience is an advantage
  • Leakage detection knowledge and practice
  • Mini report writing, data analysis and an excellent communicator
  • Delivery of small projects
  • Co-ordinating and supervising small teams
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 GCSE pass grades
  • Higher education achievements in relevant disciplines advantageous.
  • Vocational Achievements NVQ/C&G advantageous.
  • Water Hygiene, Street works and Manual handling accreditation essential
