Overview

Overview

Aqualogic require a motivated new member of our Southern team to canvass Southern Water customers explaining, offering and ultimately booking a free water saving home visit. The home visit involves an Aqualogic engineer visiting the customers home for up to an hour, assessing if the home is water efficient or not, if not fitting water efficient products (to the toilets, taps and showers) while dispensing advice as to how to save water and money.

The successful candidate must be bright, intelligent and amiable; while being proficient using simple programmes/apps on a mobile phone and tablet. An interest in green issues and sustainability would be beneficial although not essential.

The candidate will be required to follow a map with areas of interest detailed, they will then be calling on Southern Water customers (every home within the area), explaining the free service and booking appointments. When no one is present leafleting the home. They will need to input the outcome of the conversation (when someone is present) on a mobile device, then also using the mobile device, offer the customer a convenient appointment, book the appointment while logging the customer details and any specific requests.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work in Worthing & Brighton.

The canvasser will work 5 days per week visiting customers as well as carrying out basic admin and reporting functions. To reach the maximum audience, the days of operation for the canvasser are to be Tuesday to Saturday inclusive. The working day on Tuesday to Thursday will incorporate evening hours, as follows.

As a member of the Southern Water team the main duties will be:

  • Receiving details of the area required for canvassing
  • Knock on prospective customer doors engaging with the customer, explaining the benefits of the visit and where appropriate booking an appointment
  • If the customer does not want to book an appointment there and then leaving the required information to enable them to book via the call centre or online.
  • Where a customer is not present leaving a leaflet containing information etc.
  • Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments
  • Adhere to performance indicators as set out by the client
  • Liaise with project management in adding areas.

Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

Overview

We are seeking to recruit an experienced Network Analyst for our water utility support operations in Wales. The successful candidate will work within a team to provide Technical Support on Water Asset Management and leakage/pressure projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.

This may include data analysis and hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software (GIS/AIS/Infoworks/MapInfo/etc) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.

As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:

  • Support PM and Lead on a variety of different projects and initiatives.
  • Leakage analysis and targeting
  • Programming field maintenance and project reporting
  • Analysis of flow, pressure and acoustic data.
  • Producing technical reports with varying levels of detail.

Overview

Aqualogic require a motivated new member of a pioneering team providing Network Water Leak Detection to Utility Customers. The successful candidate must have extensive leak detection knowledge and experience of job management within clients systems.

The candidate will be required to assist a team of 5 low skilled technicians to detect leaks and to process jobs onto the client system avoiding false reporting. We would expect the candidate to develop one to one training and support for low skilled operatives supported by our management team.

The role will adopt the use of Aqualogic’s unique smart leak detection systems, designed to allow personnel to develop rapidly therefore assisting our clients reduce water leaks and losses on their networks. Full training and going support will be provided.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region. The role will have an element of weekly night work (min 1 out of 5 days) and is wholly conducted in the field.

As a member of the Leakage Technology Team your main duties will be:

  • Support a team of 5 low skilled technicians via supervision and assistance
  • Utilise provided Leak Noise Correlator to verify points of interest
  • Using supplied technology to record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment
  • Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments
  • Adhere to performance indicators as set out by the client
  • Produce daily reports using provided systems
  • Liaise with clients and project management in adding verified leaks to client management systems

Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

  • Used to working outdoors with extensive environmental/mechanical knowledge of water distribution systems specialising in leak detection

Responsibilities

Carrying out water efficiency audits in customer households by prearranged appointment. Involves assessment of on-site water fittings (eg. taps, toilets, showers, baths etc), measuring of flow rates where applicable, information input/analysis using Aqualogic software with provided tablets/smartphones, presentation and reporting of data. In addition, the installation of water efficiency products as required.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.


Main Duties:

- Visiting sites, liaising with either home-owner or site manager (or similar).

- Report preparation and data presentation including recording site information and presenting in a standard format.

- Audit and survey of existing water systems.

- Data inputting into built databases and other specialist tools, using dedicated software for data capture via smartphone/tablet as well as MS Office.

- Assist Project Manager as required


- This list of duties is not exhaustive, training and Induction is provided. Overall, the successful candidate will be organised, have good work ethic and the ability to carry out the work within set time frames. Must be prepared to travel to designated areas. Work rota includes occasional Saturdays and evenings (up to 20:00hrs) will be required with days in lieu offered.
