Overview

Aqualogic require a motivated new member of a pioneering team providing Network Water Leak Detection to Utility Customers. The successful candidate must have extensive leak detection knowledge and experience of job management within clients systems.

The candidate will be required to assist a team of 5 low skilled technicians to detect leaks and to process jobs onto the client system avoiding false reporting. We would expect the candidate to develop one to one training and support for low skilled operatives supported by our management team.

The role will adopt the use of Aqualogic’s unique smart leak detection systems, designed to allow personnel rapidly commence with assisting our clients reduce water leaks and losses on their networks.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region. The role will have an element of weekly night work (min 1 out of 5 days) and is wholly conducted in the field.


As a member of the team possible duties may be:

- Support a team of 5 low skilled technicians via supervision and assistance

- Detect and Pinpoint leaks on supply pipe and distribution network

- Utilise provided Leak Noise Correlator to verify points of interest

- Using supplied technology to record acoustic sound files across a water distribution network using digital equipment

- Working independently as a single person unit within urban/suburban environments

- Adhere to performance indicators as set out by the client

- Produce daily reports using provided systems

- Liaise with clients and project management in adding verified leaks to client management systems.


Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

- Used to working outdoors with extensive environmental/mechanical knowledge of water distribution systems specialising in leak detection

- Self motivated individual with an eye for detail and a focus on customer service and team work

- A clean UK driving licence

- Ability to prioritise a variety of tasks 

- An excellent communicator

As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:

- Support the team on a variety of different projects and initiatives

- Required to undertake water network audits and surveys and installations

- Flow, pressure and acoustic data logging – data collection, analysis and reporting

- Producing technical reports with varying levels of detail and be able to present to PM and client

- Liaise with sub-contractors and clients, acting as an ambassador for Aqualogic

- Carryout health and safety/quality auditing – site, staff and sub-contractors

- Supervising and co-ordinating staff including training, workload allocation as well as any health and safety related tasks


Skills and Experience highly beneficial for this role are:

- A minimum of three years appropriate water industry experience

- Working to tight deadlines in a busy environment with limited supervision

- Experience across a range of disciplines including network modelling, pressure management, distribution and trunk mains leakage investigation, data handling, client liaison and basic project management/co-ordination

-A clean UK driving licence.

- PRV servicing, set-up and controller installation is desirable along with pressure management area design experience

Overview

Aqualogic have many opportunities available for candidates to join our thriving field services team delivering key water demand related services to our Utility Customers, as well as a range of private and public-sector customers in Wales and bordering areas. Successful candidates will be required to undertake data logging services, programming, servicing and deploying flow and pressure devices on a range of water distribution networks. Experience and knowledge of water distribution networks is desirable, subject to role.


As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:

Water Auditor

Job Title: Water Auditor

Responsibilities

Carrying out water efficiency audits in customer households by prearranged appointment. Involves assessment of on-site water fittings (eg. taps, toilets, showers, baths etc), measuring of flow rates where applicable, information input/analysis using Aqualogic software with provided tablets/smartphones, presentation and reporting of data. In addition, the installation of water efficiency products as required.

The candidate must possess a clean driving licence and be willing to work across region.


Main Duties:

- Visiting sites, liaising with either home-owner or site manager (or similar).

- Report preparation and data presentation including recording site information and presenting in a standard format.

- Audit and survey of existing water systems.

- Data inputting into built databases and other specialist tools, using dedicated software for data capture via smartphone/tablet as well as MS Office.

- Assist Project Manager as required


- This list of duties is not exhaustive, training and Induction is provided. Overall, the successful candidate will be organised, have good work ethic and the ability to carry out the work within set time frames. Must be prepared to travel to designated areas. Work rota includes occasional Saturdays and evenings (up to 20:00hrs) will be required with days in lieu offered.

Overview

We are seeking to recruit candidates/graduates for our water utility support operations in Wales. Our successful candidates will work within a team to provide Technical Support on Water and / or Wastewater Asset Management and leakage/pressure projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients.

This may include data analysis and hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software (GIS/AIS/Infoworks/MapInfo/etc) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis. The successful candidates will receive support and training tailored towards the role.


As a member of the IDM Team your main duties will be:

You will possess a HND/C or Degree in an Engineering, Environmental or Numerate Science related subject.

Have a basic understanding of water and wastewater asset management within the UK Water Industry and an awareness of one or more areas of UK Water / Wastewater industry / projects:

- Network modelling / Drainage Area Planning / Fluvial Modelling

- Leakage analysis and targeting
