Aqualogic have appointed Tom Nicholls as a Water Demand Specialist. He comes direct from Welsh Water where he was responsible for hydraulic modelling and before that pressure management strategy on the network.
Tom is a PRINCE2 practitioner with over 15 years’ experience in the UK water industry. Tom studied at Swansea University achieving a 1st class degree in mechanical engineering (BEng) before completing a research masters (M.Res). He has worked for a variety of different organisations and specialist contractors and has an in-depth working knowledge and understanding of the functions both water companies and their customers require. Tom is an Associate member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and has been appointed Water Demand Specialist with Aqualogic.
Tom’s areas of expertise include project management; water demand strategy; water networks & hydraulics; WTW balancing & distribution; flow meter verification; pressure management strategy; network modelling; leakage management.
Ashley Williams, Aqualogic’s water services director, stated: “We are delighted to welcome Tom to the Aqualogic family, his technical ability and strategic thinking will compliment our current team as well as providing opportunities in new areas for the business to expand into. Tom & I worked together over a decade ago now, and I am thrilled to be back working alongside him once again”.
