All eyes will now turn to Mathew Davies and his star studded ‘Aqualogic Boys’, as last night they secured promotion up into the Exwick Sports Hub Premier Division! With the breaking news of Thomas Tuchel’s departure, Ashley Williams surely has a fight on his hands to ensure ‘Davies’ stays put and leads the team into the top flight campaign…

During last night’s promotion celebrations, star player ‘Romano Stickler’ had the following to say to his fans… “It’s a great honour to play for Mathew and the team. I’d like to thank my fans, my teammates and most of all Aqualogic for making all this possible… it’s a dream come true to share the field with a Ex-Welsh Premier League substitute, as well as well as a failed Level 3 Plumber.”

A brief word from the ‘the special one’ himself, Mathew added “This is my dream, to manage in the top flight of Exwick Football, actually, It’s beyond my wildest dreams! I never thought I would be able to make a difference to the environment each day, performing critical network duties for the people of Devon and Cornwall, whilst still following my dreams, planning my tactics & team talks – this is all I have ever wanted… I feel I have a purpose!”
